Now, this <strong>images will be displayed by defaul<\/strong>t because they\u2019ll be temporarily stored in the platform.<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\"><strong><span style=\"color: #333333;\">How does this Affect Email Marketing?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><a title=\"Doppler Email Marketing\" href=\"http:\/\/sales.fromdoppler.com\/help\" target=\"_blank\">Doppler<\/a> tracks openings by placing a single pixel sized image in each email. An email will be considered as \u2018opened\u2019 once this image is displayed.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">By leaving images turned off, users could open our emails without downloading the tracking image, making those opens invisible to <a title=\"Doppler Email Marketing\" href=\"http:\/\/sales.fromdoppler.com\/help\" target=\"_blank\">Doppler<\/a>. Now that <a title=\"Gmail\" href=\"https:\/\/accounts.google.com\/ServiceLogin?service=mail&#038;passive=true&#038;rm=false&#038;continue=https:\/\/mail.google.com\/mail\/&#038;ss=1&#038;scc=1<mpl=default<mplcache=2&#038;emr=1\" target=\"_blank\">Gmail<\/a> displays images automatically, those previously invisible opens are now visible, <strong>making the unique openings indicator more accurate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">As for <strong>multiple opens, they will be harder to track<\/strong>.
