Keep reading!<\/p>\n Soft Bounces:<\/strong><\/p>\n This kind of bounces are the ones that won\u2019t allow your Emails to get to your Subscriber\u2019s Inbox. This could happen either because of an error or a non permanent situation that could be reversed in time.<\/p>\n If Doppler<\/a> were to come up to a Soft Bounce, it would retry up to five times<\/strong> to achieve sending before giving it up and declaring it as definitively bounced.<\/p>\n Some of this situations might be:<\/p>\n – Email Rejected:<\/span> The sent Email returns to Doppler\u2019s shipping system. In most of the cases, this is due to non existing email addresses or full inboxes that make it impossible for our Emails to come to destination.<\/p>\n – Invalid<\/span>: This kind of bounce happens when the internal destination server doesn\u2019t respond to the connection.<\/p>\n – SMTP MX Not Found<\/span>: Not found on the DNS register. In this cases it\u2019s possible that the domain does not exist or the DNS has not been actualized.<\/p>\n – Timeout<\/span>: It happens\u00a0when the connection has took longer than 60 seconds in being achieved.<\/p>\n – Server Rejected<\/span>: Destination Server rejects SMTP connection.<\/p>\n – Transaction Error<\/span>: Doppler is unable to set connection or destination server won\u2019t allow it for some reason.<\/p>\n Those last two might sound tricky, but basically what happens is that Doppler<\/a>\u00a0is trying to set a connection that is not accepted by the destination server.<\/p>\n Hard Bounces<\/strong><\/p>\n Hard bounces are much more severe than the Soft ones. And that\u2019s not surprising at all\u2026 they aren\u2019t called like that for no reason, right?<\/p>\n This kind of Bounces happen\u00a0when Doppler<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0getting a definitive answer from the destination server, indicating that the Email can\u2019t and won\u2019t be sent to that mailbox<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Hard Bounces tend to happen because:<\/p>\n – One of the email addresses to which the Email has been sent is not valid, because it has been wrongly typed in or because it has never existed.<\/p>\n – The domain name does not exist.<\/p>\n – The recipient’s Email server has completely blocked the delivery.<\/p>\n – The server is blocking the Email because it contains an attachment.<\/p>\n – The receiving account is blocking Emails from your\u00a0server.<\/p>\n – The receiving server considers spammer to your domain.<\/p>\n – The server considers the content of the message to be Spam.<\/p>\n In either of this cases, the app won\u2019t try to resend the Emails and will automatically consider them as Hard Bounced.<\/p>\n If you don’t have your <\/span>Doppler<\/span>\u00a0account yet, <\/span>create one now<\/span><\/a> and start optimizing and measuring your shipments simply and effectively. <\/span>Make sure you reach all your Subscribers with your next Email Marketing actions!<\/b><\/p>\n ![\"Hard](\"https:\/\/help.fromdoppler.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/Captura-de-pantalla-2017-02-08-a-las-10.07.34.png\")
