Now you can not only work with your Subscribers Lists, you can also manage your Campaigns, Custom Fields<\/a>, see your Reports<\/a>\u00a0and much more<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

In this post you will discover how to access it and all you can do with the new API<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

Some previous observations<\/h2>\n

Before going further, you should know that using the Doppler API<\/a> demands some development knowledge<\/strong>. So if you are not familiarized with it, you will probably need some help from a support group.<\/p>\n

The format you will use for both INPUTS and OUTPUTS, is JSON<\/strong>. And the methods with which you must work are GET, PUT, POST<\/strong> and DELETE<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Our API is based on REST principles<\/strong>. This means you can use your browser to access the URLs and even use any HTTP client and programming language to interact with our Hypermedia API<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This is really good news! Don\u2019t worry if you are not understanding some concepts. Your developers will do it for you and you will see that benefits will be fantastic<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

Requirements to use the API<\/h2>\n

To take advantage of all the services our API can deliver, you will need to get your API Key<\/strong>, which must be included in each request. It is a code with numbers and letters, and you can find it in the Control Pane<\/strong>l of your Doppler account.<\/p>\n

How to access<\/h2>\n

To use our API, you must first get into the Control Panel<\/strong> of your Doppler account.<\/p>\n

Then select the Doppler API<\/strong> option in the Advanced Preferences<\/strong> section and start using it!<\/p>\n

Main functions<\/h2>\n

To operate our REST API, your application must perform an HTTP request and parse the response. All these will be self-documented<\/strong>, as they include various metadata that client applications can take or ignore.<\/p>\n

The functions you can take advantage of are:<\/p>\n

– Create, edit and delete Lists<\/strong> and get collections of those that already exist.
\n– Build, edit, send, and delete Campaigns<\/strong>.
\n– Access the Summary Report<\/strong> of all your shipments.
\n– Import, edit and remove Subscribers<\/strong>.
\n– Get listings of removed<\/strong> contacts, Lists, Subscribers, Campaigns and Custom Fields.<\/p>\n
