You will use this Campaign when you want your Emails to be sent on special days of the months. An example would be sending a billing reminder.<\/p>\n

The first step to send such Campaigns is to login to your Doppler<\/a>\u00a0account. Don’t have one yet? Sign up for free now!<\/a> Then\u00a0click on the “Automation<\/strong>” section.<\/p>\n

\"Select<\/p>\n

Once you are there, select \u201cCreate Automation Campaign<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n

\"Create<\/p>\n

You will seethe three email Automation Types. Choose \u201cScheduled Date\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"Create<\/p>\n

Enter a name for your Campaign<\/strong> that will help you identify it afterwards.<\/p>\n

\"Campaign<\/p>\n

Then, you should select what kind of Scheduled Day you need to be executed. In this case, you will choose \u201cDay of the Month\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"Automation<\/p>\n

Then, you should set up the Date Field<\/strong> in which you want the action to be executed and the sending hour. You also have the option to create a sequence of sendings. The day you choose here will be the baseline from which the later sendings will be executed.<\/p>\n

For example, if you want your Subscribers to know that the 12th of each month their bill expires, in this section you can choose the 10th of each month to make a first sending communicating that they have two days left until the due date. Also, you can set up a second sending for 2 days later, to let them know that the deadline for payment has arrived.<\/p>\n

\"Choose<\/p>\n

Now you should choose your Campaign\u2019s recipients<\/strong>. To do that you have to click on “Select a List or Segment”<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

\"Choose<\/p>\n

You can select as many Lists as you want or even select the option “Send to all my contacts”<\/strong>\u00a0this will include the ones that are not part of any of your Lists.<\/p>\n

You can choose a \u201cFilter<\/strong>\u201d if you want, for example,by selecting a Segment<\/a> you have created or a List with a specific Label.\u00a0Once you finish, click \u201cConfirm selection\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Then you will have to start defining the steps of your Automation Flow. To start press the + icon<\/strong> that appears on the canvas.<\/p>\n

\"Add<\/p>\n

You will see two options: “Hold”<\/strong> and “Email”<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"Set<\/p>\n

Choose “Wait”<\/strong> if you want certain time to make the second shipment. For example, you can set two days later to send another Email by typing the number 2 in the “Wait time”<\/strong> field and choosing the “Days”<\/strong> option. The data will automatically appear on the canvas on the right.<\/p>\n

\"Define<\/p>\n

You can also set a “Wait time” of minutes, hours and even weeks<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"Wait<\/p>\n

When you choose the “Email”<\/strong> option, you must configure the Basic Information of your shipment just as you do with the rest of your Doppler Email Campaigns.<\/p>\n

\"Complete<\/p>\n

Then you will have to configure the viralization of your Campaign<\/a>, if you want it to be shared in Social Networks, and define the Email Content<\/strong>. You can choose to Import an HTML file<\/a>, edit one of our Templates<\/a> or create a Plain-Text Campaign<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"Email<\/p>\n

The Template Editor option is ideal for those who do not have HTML knowledge and want to create Email Campaigns in minutes. If you have your own Templates you can choose one from the “My Templates<\/a>“<\/strong> section, otherwise you can select one of the available in the different categories.<\/p>\n

Clicking on one will display two options: “Select without editing”<\/strong> if you want to leave it as it is or “Select and edit”<\/strong> in case you want to modify it from our Editor.<\/p>\n

\"Edit<\/p>\n

If you choose the option to edit a Template, you will be directed to our Editor. Remember that you can change everything you want: images, text, colors and add links with just drag and drop elements. Once you have your Email ready, click “Next”<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"Templates<\/p>\n

Once you have created the Content of the Email you will be able to make a Campaign test<\/a>, just as you do with the other Campaigns that you create in Doppler, in order to verify that there is no error.<\/p>\n

\"Campaign<\/p>\n

Good job! You already have your Automation Flow configured for a Day of the Week. On the canvas you will see all the detailed steps and also you can continue adding. If you want to modify some, just click on it and on the left the panel will be displayed from where you can make the changes you want.<\/p>\n

\"Automation<\/p>\n

If you want to delete some of the steps, just by placing the cursor on it you will see the “Delete”<\/strong> icon appear.<\/p>\n

\"Wait<\/p>\n

All the steps that you create and configure will be saved automatically, although you also have the option “Save”<\/strong> in the upper margin of the screen.<\/p>\n

To go back or go forward, you always have the buttons “Undo”<\/strong> and “Redo”<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Finally, you will see in the upper part a rectangle that will indicate the steps that you are completing and if there are some that has been incomplete.<\/p>\n

\"Options\"<\/p>\n

Now you complete the same steps as you did with your previous sending and, once you\u2019ve finished, with a click on \u201cStart Sending\u201d<\/strong>, your Automation Campaign will start running!<\/p>\n
