If so, it is important that you know that their appearance is due to <strong>authentications used by Email clients<\/strong> such as Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo and AOL to verify that an Email comes from a legitimate Sender.<\/p>\n<p>In this article, you&#8217;ll learn how this type of authentication works and how to remove this information from your Campaigns.<\/p>\n<h2>The reason why authentication information appears?<\/h2>\n<p>To determine whether an Email is secure, Email providers pay attention to two aspects:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The email address that appears in the From field.<\/li>\n<li>The address of the sender, that is, the Doppler servers used to send the Campaigns. For example, dptagent.net, dplrtp.com and dptagent.biz.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Some Email clients display both the information that you defines in your shipment and the data of our servers in the From field. <strong>That is because your Email domain is not authenticated<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s look at some examples. If you send a Campaign from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fromdoppler.com\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Doppler<\/a> using the From Email info@educacion.com, it will be authenticated with our domain. Email clients will display the Doppler domain near your Campaign From information to help Subscribers determine if it\u2019s safe to open. As you can see in the image below.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Example in Outlook:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5365\" src=\"https:\/\/help.fromdoppler.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/capturaHelp-1.png\" alt=\"&quot;On behalf of&quot; in the From Email - Outlook\" width=\"700\" height=\"383\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Example in Gmail:<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5366\" src=\"https:\/\/help.fromdoppler.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/CapturaHelp2-1.png\" alt=\"&quot;On behalf of&quot; in the From Email - Gmail\" width=\"700\" height=\"324\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>How to remove this information from your Campaigns<\/h2>\n<p>The best way to do this is to use a From-Email <strong>associated with your own domain and authenticate it<\/strong>. To do this you will need to <a href=\"https:\/\/help.fromdoppler.com\/en\/como-activar-domain-keys\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">activate the DKIM of your account and register the SPF<\/a>. These methods make Email clients understand that Campaigns come from your servers, eliminating Doppler information.<\/p>\n<p>Although this process works on most Email clients, <strong>some like Outlook, they can still display the authentication information even after activate your custom DKIM<\/strong>.
