This is because by analyzing how users behaves, you can<strong> know what their interests are and how they interact with your Campaigns<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The main benefit of this technique is that it allows you to segment your sendings according to the information you have from your Subscribers and, therefore, <strong>increase the level of customization of your Campaigns, making them more effective<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>So, for example, you can create a specific Email for those who have opened a Campaign and another for those who have not. In the example we have selected the &#8220;My Subscribers&#8221; List. To do this, <strong>click on the + icon<\/strong> that appears on the canvas. There you will see 4 different options:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wait (define a period of time that you want to wait for a certain action).<\/li>\n<li>Email.<\/li>\n<li>Condition (we explain it bellow).<\/li>\n<li>Action (different actions you can take in relation to your Subscribers).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img class=\"alignnone wp-image-5709 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/help.fromdoppler.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/elements-300x252.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"252\" srcset=\"https:\/\/help.fromdoppler.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/elements-300x252.png 300w, https:\/\/help.fromdoppler.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/elements.png 378w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Conditions are those elements that will allow you to perform certain actions according to the previous behavior of your Subscribers, this is <strong>depending on whether the users did a certain thing or, on the contrary, they didn\u2019t<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s look at an example. Let&#8217;s say you&#8217;ve created a Campaign that includes a product catalog and you want to send them an Email with products related to those Subscribers who clicked on &#8220;TVs&#8221; only one day after that. And on the other hand, you want to send an Email with other products to those who, although they opened the Campaign, didn&#8217;t click on any link because, evidently, they were not interested in any of those products. Then, the Automation Flow would be configured as shown in the image:<\/p>\n<h3><img class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5702\" src=\"https:\/\/help.fromdoppler.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/flow.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"752\" height=\"682\" srcset=\"https:\/\/help.fromdoppler.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/flow.png 752w, https:\/\/help.fromdoppler.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/flow-300x272.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 752px) 100vw, 752px\" \/><\/h3>\n<h3>How to create a Condition for your Email Automation Campaign<\/h3>\n<p>To segment your Emails according to the behavior of your Subscribers in previous Campaigns you need to take the following steps:<\/p>\n<p>1. <strong>Click the + icon<\/strong> and select the Condition option.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"alignnone wp-image-5703 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/help.fromdoppler.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/condition-300x252.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"252\" srcset=\"https:\/\/help.fromdoppler.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/condition-300x252.png 300w, https:\/\/help.fromdoppler.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/condition.png 380w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>2. A panel will be displayed on the left where you can <strong>enter a name for that Condition<\/strong> (the one that will appear on the canvas).<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"alignnone wp-image-5704 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/help.fromdoppler.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/name-condition-300x107.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"107\" srcset=\"https:\/\/help.fromdoppler.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/name-condition-300x107.png 300w, https:\/\/help.fromdoppler.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/name-condition.png 369w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>3. Select the<strong> type of Condition<\/strong>, in this case Subscriber behavior in a Campaign.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"alignnone wp-image-5705 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/help.fromdoppler.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/subscriber-behavior-292x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"292\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/help.fromdoppler.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/subscriber-behavior-292x300.png 292w, https:\/\/help.fromdoppler.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/subscriber-behavior.png 366w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 292px) 100vw, 292px\" \/><br \/>\n4. Choose the <strong>name of the reference Email<\/strong>, that is, with which the Subscribers will interact. In the example is Products catalog.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"alignnone wp-image-5706 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/help.fromdoppler.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/reference-288x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"288\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/help.fromdoppler.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/reference-288x300.png 288w, https:\/\/help.fromdoppler.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/reference.png 361w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 288px) 100vw, 288px\" \/><br \/>\n5. Define a <strong>trigger for that Condition<\/strong>: Has opened the Email, Has not opened the Email, Has clicked on some link, Has not clicked on any link, Has clicked on a specific link and Has not clicked on a specific link. We have chosen &#8220;Has clicked on a specific link&#8221; and we have selected which one.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"alignnone wp-image-5707 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/help.fromdoppler.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/specific-link-293x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"293\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/help.fromdoppler.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/specific-link-293x300.png 293w, https:\/\/help.fromdoppler.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/specific-link.png 366w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 293px) 100vw, 293px\" \/><br \/>\n6. <strong>Add more criteria to your Condition<\/strong> by clicking on the + icon. When doing this you must choose between the AND options (all criteria must be met) or OR (at least one of the criteria must be met).
