How do I identify which contacts are blocking my list?

Do you need to send a Campaign and your List has been blocked? Don’t worry! We can help 🙂

A list is blocked when a large number of emails are detected that could affect the reputation of your emails and the deliverability of your Campaigns.

It’s important to clarify that at Doppler we don’t work with any specific debugging tool.

✅ Some tips for a healthy list
– Emails should have more than 4 characters before the “@”.
– They shouldn’t be just numbers (like [email protected]).
– Ideally, the database should be less than a year old.

Suggestions for a Healthy List 🙂

🚫 Nonexistent Emails or Emails with Formatting Errors

Make sure emails are formatted correctly and are not misspelled. These don’t reach their destination and only generate bounces:

🚫 Generic or Role Emails

These emails tend to have very low open rates and are often not even reviewed by a real person. This can ultimately affect your domain’s reputation and cause it to end up on a blacklist. Therefore, we recommend avoiding these types of emails unless you have real, active contact with them.

🚫 Emails from countries other than your target market

If your business operates only in Latin America, it doesn’t make sense to have emails from Europe. Furthermore, if your campaigns are in Spanish, those contacts probably won’t interact, or you might even receive complaints or be marked as spam for receiving unwanted campaigns.

#DopplerTip: We recommend importing databases no older than one year to ensure they are active and up-to-date.

🔍Once you’ve cleaned up your Contact Database, review it thoroughly and make sure all contacts meet the following conditions:
– They are real.
– They are active.
– They have given consent to receive your emails.

Then reimport the reverted list, and that’s it! Your account should be working normally again. 🙂
