What is a blacklist?

The contacts you include in your list affect the quality of your emails. If this happens to you, a “Blocked List” warning will appear if you reach a certain percentage of contacts suspected of being spam.

Blacklists are lists that identify addresses associated with sending spam. This refers to the action created to help stem the avalanche of spam that began when email became widespread.

Why does an Email end up on a blacklist?

Emails can be blacklisted for several reasons: the domain containing the email address, having hard bounces or abuse reports in their history, or being part of previously detected “scam accounts.”

List with blacklisted contacts that do not reach the critical percentage

The list will not be blocked if, when importing contacts into a Doppler list, it determines that some are blacklisted, but the percentage does not reach the critical value.

#DopplerTip: When sending messages to this list, you will not send messages to contacts who are blacklisted. In the reports for sending messages to this list, the contacts will be classified according to the reasons for being blacklisted, such as “Hard Bounced” or “Soft Bounced,” as appropriate.
