How to create and edit an Instagram Chatbot room?

Learn how you can enable an Instagram Room on your account, so you can provide answers to your audience and build customer loyalty.

• Before you begin, review the requirements for creating an Instagram Page:
• Your business must have a verified Meta business account.
• You must have access to an Instagram business account or Instagram creator account.
• The Instagram account must be associated with the business account.
• A Facebook Page associated with the business account and linked to the Instagram account.
• Allow access to Instagram messages from the mobile app.

Step by step to link your Instagram account with Conversations

First of all, you will have to log in to your account and go to the Conversations menu. Once there, click on the Settings option in the left menu and select Rooms.

1. Click on the “+New Room” button and select Instagram as the communication channel.
2.  Log in to META with the account that has access to Instagram.

3. Select the business that has the Facebook account and the Instagram account linked.

4. Select the Facebook page of your business chosen above and that has the Instagram account linked

5. Select the Instagram account you want to link.

6. Finally, META will confirm that the Instagram account has been successfully connected to Doppler Conversations.

7. Once the previous steps are completed in META the screen will show a list of Instagram accounts available to create the chat room.

You can choose the name of the room and the modality, Open or Closed.

In the final step you can define:

• The welcome message for your audience.
• Auto-response message when you are not online.
• Assign access to other users.

By clicking the Finish button, the room is created in Doppler Conversations and will be available for you to start managing it.
