Why do I Have to Fill in a Form when Uploading my List?
When uploading your Subscribers to Doppler, it is possible that the app asks you to fill in a Subscribers Validation Form. If you are wondering why do we do that, don’t miss this post!
Why do we have that Form?
One of Email Marketing white hat practices is earning your own database, not buying it. And how do you earn your own Subscribers? By including a Subscription Form in your site/blog or by asking your clients for their email addresses by the proper means (both online and offline).
However, there are many people selling email addresses and many people buying them believing on their reliability. But what if your email address were to be in one of those lists and that list was sold to some guy from and industry you really don’t care about? Would you like to receive their communications? Would you open those emails? Probably not.
If you send your Campaigns through Doppler to this kind of Subscribers (who haven’t opted in to your communications) you will be considered Spam. And because we don’t appreciate Spam is why we like to check your Subscribers source by making you fill in a Form.
How does that benefit you?
Validating your Subscribers benefits you as well as the people whose addresses are in your Lists. How? For starters, you won’t have to pay for Subscribers that wouldn’t open your emails and, even if they did, wouldn’t convert. And, to continue with, you will be taking good care of your brand reputation by avoiding sending those unsolicited communications that annoy us all.
That’s why in Doppler we ask you to validate your Subscribers source, how many of them has opted in to your communications and how old is your list, among other questions.
We do everything to ensure the success of your Campaigns!
